Rural Electrification Corporation Limited

  • Rural Electrification Corporation Limited has informed the Exchange that the pursuant to Office Order dated November 29, 2011 issued by the Ministry of Power, Government of India, Shri Rajeev Sharma, Director (Projects), Power Finance Corporation Limited, has been appointed as Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), Rural Electrification Corporation Limited for a period of five years, with effect from the actual date of taking over the charge of CMD, REC or till the date of his superannuation, or until further orders, whichever is the earliest. Further, in pursuance of this Office Order, Shri Rajeev Sharma has assumed the charge of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), Rural Electrification Corporation Limited, in the pay scale of Rs. 80,000-1,25,000/- on the Afternoon of November 29, 2011.
