Pinjore to Parwanoo Bypass is Almost Complete

  • The long awaited Pinjore to Parwanoo bypass is nearly complete. With 93 percent of the work done, National Highway Authority manager says it should be ready in a months time.The much awaited four lane by pass from Pinjore to Parwanoo will be completely ready in a months time. So now going to the hill state saves everyone the bother of the long traffic jams.Chandigarh NHAI project Manager Anil Kumar Dahiya who refused to come on camera but has confirmed over the phone that 93 percent of the 10 km bypass is complete and in a months time it will be ready.The 5.5 km stretch of the bypass in Haryana is ready and work on the road in Himachal Pradesh is still in progress. The bypass has been connected to the highway in HP near Timber Trail in Parwanoo.
  • Commuters will bypass three towns Pinjore, Kalka and Parwanoo which were the bottle necks for traffic jams. Now one will cruise along the picturesque hills in minutes.The Pinjore-Parwanoo bypass is part of Zirakpur-Parwanoo highway. The Zirakpur-Pinjore stretch has been functional for over a year. The toll plaza for the Zirakpur-Parwanoo highway is being put up in Chandimandir.Closing PTC The four laning of national highway till Parwanoo will boost industrial and commercial captivity in the region. It will also ensure a smooth ride for tourists headed towards Kasuali, Shimla and other places.
