ZCWD Asks for Understanding for Inconvenience Due to Road Works

  • The Zamboanga City Water District (ZCWD) has asked the public to bear with them as the office is implementing projects within the city proper.  ZCWD, Construction Division, Officer-in-Charge, Gay Gutierez said, “Tan request kame they should bear with us. This is for the improvement of the water system of Zamboanga City.”According to Gutierez, the office is already replacing the old pipes to give better service to the water concessioners.The replacement of pipelines at Mayor Cesar Climaco Avenue amounting to P9,529,855.00 which started last October 18 is expected to end after 60 calendar days. Said project is performed by the ZCWD.
  • The pipeline replacement at Pasonanca amounting to P18,725,137.69, started last September 21, is expected to end after 93 working days. The contractor for the said project is NLV Construction and Development Corporation.The pipelines being replaced at Mayor Cesar Climaco Avenue is about 744 linear meters while for Pasonanca, is 1,662 linear meters.
