BPCL Sees its Sales Premium At Record Levels

  • Bharat Petroleum Corp Ltd (BPCL) sold a March naphtha cargo to Vitol at about $37 a tonne to Middle East quotes on a free-on-board (FOB) basis, making this the highest premium the refiner had received so far, traders said on Thursday.The 35,000-tonne cargo with a minimum of 72 per cent of paraffin will be lifted on March 5-8 from Kochi.The last time BPCL saw its sales premium coming close to this level was when it sold a cargo to Petro-Diamond for mid-May 2011 loading from Mumbai.
