Gujarat Gas Enters into Pact With BG India Energy

  • Gujarat Gas Company has entered into an agreement with BG India Energy Solutions (BGIESPL), for the purchase or re-gasified LNG (RLNG) volumes of up to 1.0 mmscmd (39,206 mmbtu/day) for the period from April 01, 2012 to December 31, 2012 on a firm basis.This contract, in addition to existing indigenous and RLNG gas sources, provides the company with the majority or the natural gas requirements for its markets during 2012.Shares of the company gained Rs 0.75, or 0.19%, to settle at Rs 392.60. The total volume of shares traded was 42,214 at the BSE (Friday).
