Essar Oil Gains on increase in Gas Resources

  • Shares of Essar Oil are trading at Rs 55, up Rs 1.45, or 2.71% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday at 10:43 a.m.The company`s subsidiary, Essar Energy, announced that the independently verified proven and probable reserves and best estimate 2C contingent gas resources at its Raniganj coal bed methane or CBM exploration block in West Bengal had significantly increased.

  • The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 55.75 and low of Rs 54.00. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 498,492.In the earlier session, the shares rose 3.08%, or Rs 1.6, at Rs 53.55. Currently, the stock is trading down 62.79% from its 52-week high of Rs 147.80 and above 22.77% over the 52-week low of Rs 44.80.
