L&T Construction Gets New Orders Worth Rs1,880 Crore

  • The infrastructure division won orders totalling Rs. 1,048 crore, including the construction of an elevated four-lane corridor in West BengalL&T Construction, an arm of engineering firm Larsen & Toubro Ltd, said on Tuesday it has won new orders worth at least Rs1,880 crore across various business segments since the beginning of January.

It also won a couple of orders from the Delhi Metro to design and build tunnels and three underground stations.The company’s water and effluent treatment business secured orders worth Rs.348 crore from Gujarat Water Infrastructure Ltd for a bulk water transmission project in the state.Its power transmission and distribution business received orders valued at Rs. 263 crore, which includes part of the work at a thermal power plant being developed by a private developer in Chhattisgarh.Other orders from various ongoing projects amounted to Rs221 crore.
