Ashoka Buildcon Starts Toll Collection on Durg Bypass

  • Ashoka Buildcon has the start of toll collection from Feb. 15, 2012 for Durg Bypass. The project was secured from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for construction, operation and maintenance.The project has located at Chattisgarh/ Maharashtra Border Section from K.M. 322.400 to K.M. 405 of NH-6 in the State of Chattisgarh under NHDP phase IIIA on Build Operate and Transfer (BOT) basis.The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till Feb. 15, 2012, rising 8.27% compared with the Sensex`s 12.68% rise. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 16.76% as against 7.82% rise in the Sensex.Shares of the company gained Rs 6.7, or 3.38%, to trade at Rs 205.05. The total volume of shares traded was 849 at the BSE (11.19 a.m., Thursday).
