International Price of Crude Oil - Indian Basket Rules at $ 122.74 Per BBL ON 28.2.2012

  • The international crude oil prices for Indian Basket as computed/published today by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas was lower at US$ 122.74 per barrel (bbl)The price, computed and published by PPAC on their website is based on last trading day’s figures of 28.2.2012. The price last computed/ published on 28.2.2012 based on trading figures of 27.2.2012, was US$ 123.63 per bbl.In rupee terms also, the crude oil price was lower today at Rs 6031.44 against Rs 6064.05   per bbl published on 29.2.2012, due to  lower crude oil price in dollar terms despite rupee depreciation with rupee/dollar exchange rate at  Rs 49.14  /US$ on 28.02.2012 against Rs 49.05/US$ on  27.2.2012.
