• Deputy Commissioner Phek along with host of officers visited Thuvopisu village on February 9.In order to sensitize more about eco-consciousness and motivate rural awareness, all officers’ planted trees on the side of Phek to Chozuba road.Among few completed programmes, DC, Phek, ADC Chozuba and project director, DRDA, Phek, inaugurated each road projects i.e. Agri-Link Road to Zaleshozu, Road to National Peace Memorial Park and Approach Road to GPS Sector B.
• Addressing the function, Mikha Lomi the Deputy Commissioner, Phek, who inaugurated the longest Agri-Link road connecting numbers of Jhum land and Terrace field to Zaleshozu, 12 kms, told how the area and villages have drastically changed in terms of development comparing to the older days when he was a junior administrative officer posted there.He thanked the VC, VDB members, leaders and the villagers for successful implementation of the programme at all levels.
• Temsunaro Aier, ADC, Chozuba also stressed on proper management of those roads and development by making necessary requirement such as drain to protect and keep the same infrastructures safe and utilized for a long and lasting period.Shayung Phom, PD, DRDA, Phek, also stressed on maintaining proper drain and culvert as early as possible.The villagers also expressed its appreciation to Temsunaro Aier ADC, Chozuba, Phek, district for rendering administrative efficiency and enhancing public welfare by recognizing and dully acknowledging the source of water supply to Chozuba town from time immemorial.Thuvopisumi village further assured their cooperation and support to her administrative effort, and service of public welfare.
