IL& FS TN Arm Bags Contract Worth Rs 2.65 BN

  • IL&FS Transportation Networks has announced that Elsamex, a subsidiary of the company in Spain, has awarded the contract by Government of Haiti. The time for completion of the project is 30 months. The contract value is Euro 40.72 million (approx. Rs 2.65 billion).The company had participated in the bid tendered by the Ministry of Civil Works, Transports & Communications, Government of Haiti, for Rehabilitation works on 44.205 kms of road on the National Route 3 between Hinche and Saint Raphael. The European Union Development Fund is funding the project.Shares of the company declined Rs 1.4, or 0.67%, to trade at Rs 207.70. The total volume of shares traded was 11,718 at the BSE (10.47 a.m., Monday).
