PGCIL Declares 8% Interim Dividend

  • Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd has declared an interim dividend of 8% of share capital for the financial year 2011-12.
  • The total interim dividend being disbursed is to the tune of Rs 370.38 crore to about 10.13 lakh shareholders, a company statement said.
  • At present Power Grid Corp is operating about 90,000 ckt kms of transmission lines along with 145 sub-stations with transformation capacity of more than 1,02,000 MVA. The company continues to wheel about 50% of total power generated in the country through its transmission network.
