  • International Price of Crude Oil - Indian Basket Rules High at Over $ 125 PERSONAL BBL on 14.3.2012

  • The international crude oil prices for Indian Basket as computed/published today by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas slightly lower  at US$ 125.17 per barrel (bbl). The price, computed and published by PPAC on their website is based on last trading day’s figures of 14.03.2012. The price last computed/ published on 14.3.2012 based on trading figures of 13.3.2012, was US$ 125.44 per bbl.

  • In rupee terms, the crude oil price was lower today at Rs 6245.98   against Rs 6,253.18  per bbl published on 14.3.2012, due to lower crude oil price in dollar terms, despite rupee depreciation with rupee/dollar exchange rate at  Rs 49.90  /US$ on 14.03.2012 against Rs 49.85 /US$ on  13.3.2012.
