IL&FS Transportation Gets LOI from NHAI for Rs 18.18 BN Order

  • IL&FS Transportation Networks has been issued a letter of award by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for four laning of Kiratpur to Ner-Chowk Section of NH-21 from Km 73.200 to Km 186.500 in the state of Himachal Pradesh to be executed as BOT (Toll) on DBFOT pattern under NHDP Phase - III (Project).The project is on toll basis with a concession period of 28 years including construction period of 3 years and the estimated cost of the project is Rs 18.18 billion. The company had quoted a grant of Rs 1.34 billion for project.

  • Further, the company said that the concession agreement for the captioned project was signed between NHAI and Kiratpur Ner Chowk Expressway, the special purpose vehicle incorporated by the company for undertaking the project.Shares of the company gained Rs 2.35, or 1.23%, to trade at Rs 193.95.
