Kiran to Open Subway

  • The subway at Asilmetta constructed with a cost of Rs.10.28 crore under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission is ready for inauguration by Chief Minister N. Kirankumar Reddy on Sunday. The subway is part of the Pendurti corridor of Bus Rapid Transit System. Pendurti and Simhachalam corridors, the subway and flyover at Asilmetta are taken up at a total cost of Rs.453 crore. The work was executed Messrs. M. Venkatarao Infra Projects. The Y-shaped subway takes traffic one-way from the municipal office side.
