  • 8/6 lane access controlled Delhi-Gurgaon Express Highway in 27.7 km length of NH-8 has been developed on BOT (Toll) basis. The total project cost (TPC) as per Concession Agreement is Rs. 555 crore and change of scope sanctioned is Rs. 155.25 crore (Total Rs. 710.25 crore), whereas the completion cost of the Concessionaire is Rs. 1170.26 crore (Till 31.03.2008) and Rs. 1405.97 crore (Till 31.03.2011) as per balance sheet.More than Rs. 580 crores have been charged as toll tax from the commuters on this Highway from January 2008 to December,2011. The cumulative collection at all three toll plazas i.e. at km 24, km 42 & IGI is Rs.653.93 crore till December. 2011.

  • As per projections of Concessionaire, annual expenditure for Operation & Maintenance is about Rs. 30 crore. excluding major maintenance. Major maintenance involves laying of 50 mm thick Bituminous Concrete Wearing Course on the entire Project Highway in every 5 years. The Concessionaire has projected cost of Rs. 120 crore for one major maintenance work..This information was given by the Minister of Road Transport & Highways Dr. Tushar A. Choudhary in a written reply in Lok Sabha today
