Brazil Petrobras Oil, Gas Output 2.45M BOE/D in Feb, Down 1.1% Vs Jan

  • Brazilian state oil and gas producer Petroleo Brasileiro SA (PBR, PETR4.BR), or Petrobras, produced 2.45 million barrels of oil equivalent a day in its Brazil fields in February, 1.1% lower than January, the company said late Wednesday in a statement."This result was 1.1% lower than the one registered in January due to the scheduled shutdown of the Caraguatatuba-Taubate Gas Pipeline, the completion of the extended well test at Aruana in Campos Basin and the shutdown for raiser repairs at FPWSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) Dynamic Producer (at Carioca)," Petrobras said.

  • Oil production in Brazil from Petrobras totaled 2.1 million barrels a day while its natural gas output in Brazil in February reached 56.8 million cubic meters a day.The major part of the output in both oil and gas came from fields in the state of Rio de Janeiro's coastal waters.
