South Western Rly Cancels some Train Services

Consequent on the derailment of train no.16517 Yeswantpur–Kannur Express in Mysore division of South Western Railway, the following trains are partially/fully cancelled.

A press release by the Railways said here on Friday that train no. 16517 Yeswantpur–Kannur Express of January 4 has been partially cancelled between Sakleshpur and Kannur.

The train no.16523 Mangalore Central – Karwar Express of January 4 has been cancelled. It said that train no. 16524 Karwar – Mangalore Central Express and train no.16518 Kannur – Yeswantpur Express of January 4 have been cancelled for want of rakes.

The release said that the train no.16515 Yeswantpur – Karwar Express of January 4 and train no.16516 Karwar – Yeswantpur Express of January 5 have been cancelled for want of rakes.
