Roads to be constructed with new Technique in busy Mining Areas

<p style="text-align:justify"><span style="color:#696969"><span style="font-size:11px"><span style="font-family:arial">In one of his first decisions after taking charge as Madhya Pradesh Public Works Minister Sartaj Singh reinforced the need for better quality of road construction in mining zones to facilitate heavy vehicles, here on Monday.</span></span></span></p> <p style="text-align:justify"><span style="color:#696969"><span style="font-size:11px"><span style="font-family:arial">Sartaj said that roads should be constructed with new technique in busy mining areas. Addressing a meeting of departmental officers at Nirman Bhavan, the minister said that new technology will prevent roads from breaking up due to traffic of heavy vehicles. Singh directed officials to complete process of recruitment of technical staff in the department for accelerating the pace of construction.</span></span></span></p> <p style="text-align:justify"><span style="color:#696969"><span style="font-size:11px"><span style="font-family:arial">Sartaj Singh said that construction works will cost less if completed within time&nbsp;limit. He directed to start tendering process only after taking no objection certificates from concerning agencies and payment of bills to concerning parties within 15 days.
