Global Crude Oil Price of Indian Basket decline to US$ 107.87/bbl on 2.1.2014

<p>The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went down to US$ 107.87/per barrel (bbl) on 02.01.2014. This was lower than the price of US$ 108.76/bbl on previous trading day of 01.01.2014.</p> <p>&nbsp;In rupee terms, also the crude oil price of Indian Basket fell to INR 6677.15&nbsp; per bbl on 02.01.2014 as compared to INR 6735.51 /bbl on 01.01.2014. This was mainly due to fall in price in dollar terms. Rupee closed at INR 61.90/US$ on 02.01.2014 against INR 61.93/US$ on 01.01.2014.&nbsp;</p> <p>Source:PIB</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
