Geosynchronous Satellite Launch mission-T, 10 Days Range Clearance Memorandum

<p><span style="color:#696969"><span style="font-size:11px"><span style="font-family:arial">DGH has followed up with Haed of Excom regarding the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch (GSLV-D5-II)mission- T and 10 &nbsp;Days Range Clearance Memorandum.</span></span></span></p> <p style="text-align:justify"><span style="color:#696969"><span style="font-size:11px"><span style="font-family:arial">Department of Space has intimated DSLV-D5 II rocket launch between 05.01.2014 to 07.01.2014 with Danger zones as indicated in the earlier letter, in order to keep away the shipping and air traffic on the day of launch.</span></span></span></p> <p style="text-align:justify"><span style="color:#696969"><span style="font-size:11px"><span style="font-family:arial">The period from 08.01.2014 to 31.01.2014 shall be kept alive for rescheduling the launch, if required. The exact date will be communicated again 72 hours in advance, followed by final confirmation 24 hours before the launch.</span></span></span></p> <p style="text-align:justify"><span style="color:#696969"><span style="font-size:11px"><span style="font-family:arial">It is requested to temporarily hold exploration activity in the Danger zones notified in order to keep away the shipping and air traffic during above period Action taken in this regard may be informed directly to Department of Space under intimation to DGH/ MoPNG.</span></span></span></p> <p style="text-align:justify"><span style="color:#696969"><span style="font-size:11px"><span style="font-family:arial">Source: SNP Infra Research</span></span></span></p>
