Iran looking at Exporting Natural Gas to India via Deep Sea

<p style="text-align:justify"><span style="color:#696969"><span style="font-size:11px"><span style="font-family:arial">Iran is focusing on exporting natural gas to India along a deep-sea route, its Ambassador to India Gholam Reza Ansari said today.</span></span></span></p> <p style="text-align:justify"><span style="color:#696969"><span style="font-size:11px"><span style="font-family:arial">&quot;Indians are looking for deep-sea natural gas pipeline which seems to be feasible with regard to investment and available technology. We are seeing how we can go about this project,&quot; Ansari told reporters on the sidelines of an interactive programme organised by Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) here.</span></span></span></p> <p style="text-align:justify"><span style="color:#696969"><span style="font-size:11px"><span style="font-family:arial">On exporting liquefied natural gas to India, Ansari stressed the need for acquiring LNG technology in order to win a share in export markets.</span></span></span></p> <p style="text-align:justify"><span style="color:#696969"><span style="font-size:11px"><span style="font-family:arial">&quot;As far as LNG is concerned, it is a matter of technology. We haven&#39;t been able to fulfill the technology in our country,&quot; he said. &quot;Companies who are capable in this field we would be definitely interested to welcome them in Iran,&quot; he said.</span></span></span></p> <p style="text-align:justify"><span style="color:#696969"><span style="font-size:11px"><span style="font-family:arial">Ansari said Iran is looking at diversifying its economic relations with India apart from doing business in oil and energy sectors.</span></span></span></p> <p style="text-align:justify"><span style="color:#696969"><span style="font-size:11px"><span style="font-family:arial">&quot;Iran is looking at diversifying its economic relations with India through joint ventures, investments and technology transfer,&quot; he added.&nbsp;</span></span></span><span style="color:rgb(105, 105, 105); font-family:arial; font-size:11px; line-height:1.6em">India and Iran are the most natural economic partners and much closer in economical relations, he said.</span></p> <p style="text-align:justify"><span style="color:#696969"><span style="font-size:11px"><span style="font-family:arial">Source-On Request</span></span></span></p>
