Thermax net profit dips 13 Percent

Thermax Ltd has posted a net profit of INR 67 crore in the third quarter against INR 76 crore reported in the corresponding period last year, representing a fall of 13 per cent. The energy and environment company’s operating revenue fell 3.2 per cent to INR 1,014 crore (INR 1,047 crore).

PAT for the nine-month period ended December 31 was INR 147 crore (INR 235 crore). Operating income stood at INR 2,920 crore (INR 3,223 crore). On a consolidated basis, the group’s PAT was INR 151 crore (INR 216 crore), which is lower by 30 per cent, while the total operating revenue for the nine months stood at INR 3,502 crore (INR 3,812 crore). The order backlog of the group rose 24 per cent to INR 6,445 crore (INR 5,191 crore).
