Multi-Crore Mobility Plan for Srinagar on cards : Jora

<p style="text-align:justify"><span style="color:#696969"><span style="font-size:11px"><span style="font-family:arial">The state Government has embarked upon a multipronged strategy to rationalize traffic movement system in twin capital cities&ndash; Srinagar and Jammu, an official handout said.</span></span></span></p> <p style="text-align:justify"><span style="color:#696969"><span style="font-size:11px"><span style="font-family:arial">&ldquo;The strategy includes implementation of comprehensive mobility plans for Srinagar and Jammu cities at cumulative estimated cost of INR 22,000 crore. The mobility plan for Srinagar has been finalized whereas the plan for city of temples, Jammu is nearing completion,&rdquo; it added.</span></span></span></p> <p style="text-align:justify"><span style="color:#696969"><span style="font-size:11px"><span style="font-family:arial">&ldquo;This was stated by the Minister for Urban Development and Urban Local Bodies, Nwang Rigzin Jora. He said the plan also includes construction of multi-tier parking lots and Bus Stands, besides construction of expressway corridors, flyovers for twin cities of Jammu and Srinagar.
