<p style="text-align:justify"><span style="color:#696969"><span style="font-size:11px"><span style="font-family:arial">Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that every village in the state will be linked with roads in next five years. Chouhan was inaugurating administrative building of Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation here on Tuesday. The building has been constructed under concept of green buildings on 2,027 square meter area at Arera Hills in the state capital.</span></span></span></p> <p style="text-align:justify"><span style="color:#696969"><span style="font-size:11px"><span style="font-family:arial">Chouhan said that Road Development Corporation has added to state&#39;s prestige by constructing quality roads. At the administrative building, he also inspected country&#39;s first road accident response and traffic management system. This system will start functioning soon. Roads measuring 20,000 kilometers will be monitored through this system. He said earlier, the state was branded backward as far as road connectivity was concerned, but is now on top in the country.</span></span></span></p> <p style="text-align:justify"><span style="color:#696969"><span style="font-size:11px"><span style="font-family:arial">According to a release, the corporation is carrying out INR 40,000 crore road construction works. Impressed by the corporation, the Centre has also handed over construction of 1,600 kilometer long national highways. It is also constructing 34 railway over-bridges and check-posts.</span></span></span></p> <p style="text-align:justify"><span style="color:#696969"><span style="font-size:11px"><span style="font-family:arial">The road accident response system will pave way for resumption of traffic quickly after accidents on state highways and other major roads in the state. It will be given concrete shape by linking it with all toll plazas.</span></span></span></p> <p style="text-align:justify"><span style="color:#696969"><span style="font-size:11px"><span style="font-family:arial">People travelling on major roads will be able to see latest situation about traffic jams on the departmental website.
