KG gas dispute: ONGC complains to Oil Ministry says Reliance Industries not cooperating

ONGC  has that Reliance Industries is not cooperating with the state firm in its efforts to prevent RIL from drawing natural gas from the public sector unit's undeveloped fields that seem to extend into the controversial KG-D6 block.
The company says RIL is asking for additional data and clarification, which ONGC suspects is a delaying tactic. As bilateral negotiations with RIL were going nowhere, ONGC has asked the government to appoint an independent expert to mediate. the first to report ONGC's concerns about overlapping fields in its edition dated October 24.

The development comes at a time RIL has come under a relentless barrage of criticism from former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, who has described the company as a symbol of crony capitalism because of its alleged influence over the two main political parties —Congress and the Opposition BJP.
