Road work will prompt highway closures

Utility work scheduled by the California Department of Transportation at the highways 65/70 separation in Yuba County may affect traffic in the coming days. The north- and southbound median and right shoulders are closed around the clock through April 5.

In addition, motorists can expect intermittent full highway closures and short delays from 5:30 a.m.-8:30 a.m. March 8. In Sutter County, Highway 20 at Almond Street in Yuba City will have an eastbound lane closed from 8 p.m.-6 a.m. Monday and Tuesday. Also in Sutter County, East Tudor Road east of Highway 99 is closed to traffic through spring; and the north- and south-bound lanes are reduced to two lanes through the intersection of Highways 99 and 113 until fall. Continuing Caltrans projects in Sutter County that should not affect traffic include an interchange at the Highways 99 and 113 junction; a new bridge over the Feather River on Highway 99; and a full interchange at Riego Road.
