Sadbhav Engineering wins INR 140-Crore highway Project in Odisha

Infrastructure company Sadbhav Engineering has won a INR 140-crore project in Odisha for widening a highway stretch. "Our company has been awarded the project by the Chief Engineer, Roads, Bhubaneshwar, Odisha, for a aggregating value of INR 139.5 crore," Sadbhav Engineering said in a filing to the BSE today.

The company said the project pertains to widening and strengthening of Raj-Athagarh-Narsinghpur Road to two-lane under State Highways Development Project on engineering, procurement and construction basis.

"The construction period is 24 months and the defect liability period is 24 months for the project highway and 60 months for any structures and major bridges from the date of provisional certificate of completion," it added. It said the maintenance period for the highway is for 24 months from the date of completion. Shares of the company were trading at INR 89.50 ascrip, up 0.56 per cent from the previous close on the BSE.
