Oil firms lower pump prices anew

Oil companies are rolling back prices for the third straight week citing downward adjustments in international prices. Shell said in an official advisory Monday morning that it would lower gasoline, diesel, and kerosene prices at the pump on Tuesday (March 25).  Starting 12:01a.m., on March 25, the company will slash P0.45 per liter for gasoline products and P0.10 per liter each for diesel and for kerosene.

PTT Philippines has also said it is expecting a price cut in gasoline but has not made an official announcement as of this writing. Other oil firms have not made official announcements but are expected to follow suit as nearly all fuel products sold in the Philippines are imported and are subject to similar price factors.
