Road work could take toll on Highway 99 Ramps and Lanes

Road work is going to close ramps and lanes along Highway 99 between Austin and Eight Mile roads this week, and road officials are saying drivers can expect delays of up to 10 minutes during the overnight road work.

The closures are needed to perform necessary construction and maintenance, and no two consecutive ramps will close at the same time, according to a release from the California Department of Transportation.
