SCUC and Cibolo form partnership on Road project

The Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD is joining the city of Cibolo and a developer in a $2.8 million project to make improvements to a portion of Green Valley Road, the site of the district's newest elementary school. At their May 15 board meeting, SCUC trustees voted 7-0 to participate in the project with the city and Perry Blanton, the developer for the Turning Stone subdivision at Green Valley Road and FM 1103.

The Cibolo City Council approved the project plans, which were revised in a previous agreement with Blanton, on May 13. The district is building a $34 million elementary school at Green Valleyand FM 1103, near the Turning Stone subdivision. School district officials expect the school to be completed in August 2015.
