The relaxation of green norms for Gare Palma coal mines, which would come into production shortly is destined to benifit the 2400 MW newly commisioned power plant of Jindal Power Limited, at Tamnar which is tied up to recieve coal from the said mine. Such proactive measures and collective sharing of responsibility at the stakeholder's end would be positive to reduce the coal supply woes of nealry 20 GW green and brown field thermal projects in India.
