The Korean Rail Road Network, a state-run rail road construction giant has carried out a survey of the Delhi-Palwal section to devise methods to increase the speed potential of Delhi-Mumbai rail route.

With government's strong intent to improve the existing landscape of the Indian Railways, large participation of the global giants is not only projected to roll in massive investments to the tune of USD 10-15 Billion by 2019 but a complete overhaul in the existing scenario of Indian rail industry is also projected to be witnessed. However, if the participation of these private fellows is being scrapped in near future then it might raise a question mark on the vision of the government for Indian Railways.
