Solar to be at Par With Coal in UAE: Will the Same be Possible for India?

The United Arab Emirates on May 25 said that it has succeeded in generating solar power at the cost of thermal power.

Although the government of India has already targeted a reduction of nearly 35-40% in the existing solar tariff by the end of 2015 which has fueled the market sentiments for "India Going Solar" even more. But it lies in the future to witness whether India is going to be the first in Asian periphery to pull down the cost of solar power at par with thermal or the country still needs to learn from some more examples.
