Coal supply map recast may help the power companies to reduce cost on coal transportation. This will reduce the transit time on the fuel transportation. So fuel availability to power companies may improve and this may result in better feed stock management for power generation. Government has to sort out technical complications of coal swapping before redrawing the coal supply map. Otherwise it may affect the operational performance of the coal based power plants.
