This may open new investment opportunity in cement, fertilizer, glass and ceramic industry as power availability to these industries may be cater through lignite based power generation. And the planned underground coal gasification project will open opportunity for various public and private players to invest in gas production and distribution. These planned future developments may give thrust to the industrial growth in the state and generate revenue for the state government.
