Stalked power projects of private players will continue to face difficulties as NTPC might opt out to buy them. Various power projects are facing severe liquidity crunch, and under this scenario it would be tough for them to repay back loans and hence troubling creditors. This might lead to force the private players to opt out of the power generation segment. The need of the hour is to look for the various measures to revitalize these power projects in order to enhance overall PLF of the country.
