Rising Rural Electricity Needs Opening Business Opportunities in Solar Off-Grid Solutions

More than two decades ago, nearly two-thirds of rural and 16% of urban households used kerosene as their main lighting source. By 2012, this dependency came down substantially and the proportion of households using electricity for lighting shot up, according to a report by NSSO.
