Appointment of state owned TurkmenGaz, as consortium lead for TAPI pipeline, may kick start the project as of now, ending decade long wait. Yet execution of project at highly risky provinces of Afghanistan & Pakistan pose a threat towards completion of the job. State run companies of benefitting countries, participating in project erection in their geographical boundary, with respective government support would have made the task easier. Due course of action in fascilitaing the execution of project by all the particicpating countries & real progress of TAPI project as per timeline, remains to be winessed, as success of the project would be a major milestone regarding countries energy security.
