Taiwanese Companies Evincing Interest to Set Up Production Cluster: Another Leap for Make in India

A high-level Taiwanese delegation of electronics, comprising the members of Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association (Teema), has evinced interest to set up an electronic manufacturing cluster (EMC) at Sri City in Andhra Pradesh.

The interest specified by the Taiwanese Delegation inturn comes as a boost for Government's Make in India campaign in Electronics Manufacturing segment. The proposed development will in turn bring complete spectrum of manufacturing Electrical & Electronic Products including computers, IT communications, semiconductors, optoelectronics and consumer electronics under the Indian Umbrella. Also it will offer much needed access to high end technology & employment oppotunities in the sector.
