Train Set Projects Boosting Make in India: An Opportunity of INR 2500 Crores

Seven consortiums involving global companies including from China, Japan and Germany are in the race to bag the Rs 2,500 crore Train Set project in India.

With more than 85% of the train sets manufactured indigenously, the project seems to give a boost to the Make in India initiative.
