The proposal for development of sea blocks for Offshore wind projects is certainly grappled with a lot of challenges  like grid availability, lack of on site wind measurement data,on ground execution complexity etc. Apart from this these projects require a lot of supporting infrastructure like availability of ports, vessels, barges etc which is currently lacking in India. So while considering all these burning issues in mind, the companies opting need to quote the lowest tariff as well to win the bid. Thus the intrigue question of response from potential investors for this proposal will be answered in the due course of time when the Governments sets the stage for the same.
