Power Sales, Is India a Surplus State?

All these countries have high per unit electricity cost and Govt of India wants to take an advantage of the situation and it is a well calculated move as it will definitely help enhance our economy and would help Govt have an influence on our neighbors. India has long back declared itself a power surplus country but complete electrification is still a dream and load shedding is a harsh reality which is prevalent in almost all the states, Govt needs to find a way to achieve complete electrification in true sense and then start exploring other paths.
