Electric cars will certainly decrease India’s oil necessity and dependence on oil import, with the existing crude oil market scenario it will be a blessing enhancing the Indian economy however the automobile sector is not ready to make a complete switch from conventional engines to electric engines and this measure might have been a big blow to automobile segments in terms of technological obsolesce and job losses. Now the manufactures have the time to adapt and Govt needs to facilitate adavnced technology with battery back up and charging facilities for electric cars to become a success.
