Road Conditions in India, on the Mend

Indian roads have a long way to go to be at par with developed countries but Govt’s emphasis on better connectivity and good quality of road is certainly a start. Good infrastructure is a must for a strong and growing economy so NHAI’s decision to keep an eye on PPP road projects maintenance and quality is definitely a welcome measure. Though for non PPP projects instead of self-check NHAI should opt for a third party intervention as it will ensure that there are no loopholes.
