Leasing National Highways, Stepping Stone for Infrastructure Projects

Infrastructure development has been Govt’s priority and after the successful auction of national highways under TOT, Govt is gearing up to auction more highways, which might pose huge opportunity for developer and EPC contractor and entire avlue chain partener. Through this model Govt will get the much required capital for infrastructure projects and the concessionaire will have a revenue chain with secure returns. TOT is beneficial as long as toll collection is up to the mark, otherwise it will discourage further auctions.
