Western borders of India to shine sunny

India is set to optimally utilized solar irradiation in the western coast of India, which is enriched with sunny and windy days and has immense renewable power generation potential in states of Gujarat and Rajasthan. To expand country's renewable potential and reduce dependence on fossil fuels government has planned to build 30 GWp of renewable power across western borders, which is to come from both solar and wind. This government initiative is poised to trigger capacity additions in government ambitious target of 100 GWp of Solar by 2020 and shall also reduce dependence on fossil fuels.
