Solar power to become a saviour to coral reefs

Scientists have developed a mechanism where power generated from floating solar is transmitted to biorocks via steel structures installed on seabed. Where a very low electricity of 12 vols is transmitted through steel stricture through a cable, when current passes a chemical reaction takes place and calcium carbonate gets collected on steel structures. This calcium carbonate which is deposited on the steel structure help in regenerating the corals. Apart from solar energy, wind energy can also be used. India has an immense potential 40 GW of offshore wind potential that can be utilized to recuperate coral reefs. Other forms of renewable energy like ocean, like tidal, wave, ocean thermal energy conversion can also be utilized to revive ocean.
